Our activities focus on the development of advanced electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) methods, including site directed spin labelling, and their application to biomolecules and biomolecular complexes. The interpretation of the experimental data is done in the frame of molecular dynamics simulation methods with the goal to better understand the structure-dynamics-function relationship of proteins and nucleic acids. These activities are integrated in the Research Project SFB 944. |
